Do more expensive airlines avoid turbulence?EditSo I have noticed while on holiday my boyfriend and I will fly with an airline like Cathay pacific or China Southern where my parents will fly Qantas and Emirates ....when coming back from South Africa last year our planes left the same day we had quite a bit of turbulence and my parents had none...I've also noticed that Emirates have a bar and a shower on some flights...and I can't even imagine how that would function on some of the flights I've been on. Anyway my question is do Emirates and Qantas go above the turbulence because they are more expensive so maybe can afford to pay for more fuel to fly above the turbulence?
