Some years ago Minimus thought it would be a good idea to see if he could space hop down the stairs. He launched off OK, hit  the middle stair, bounced mightily, hit the bottom stair, bounced again and head-butted the radiator. Another trip to A&E  ::)

Did he lose any weight tho...?  rubschin:

I dreamed of having a space hopper when I was a kid....  sad24:

He did lose a considerable amount of blood.

Two weeks later he tried it again........ Back to A&E.

I stabbed the hopper to deflate it and threw it away.

Had to tell him it had been taken by the Angels for his own safety. He cried buckets.   redface:
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

I remember my mate's dad brought home a drogue parachute from work...

I was convinced that if I leapt off the side of a building holding it I would be gently lowered to the ground...  cloud9:

The fact that it had a huge spring in it to kick it out into the air stream didn't ring any alarm bells at all... I think the chute hit the ground before I did...  noooo:

Happy days...  lol:

I also remember my dad brining me home a hard hat from work...

I demonstrated how good it was to my mates by throwing a brick into the air above my head - unfortunately, it missed the hat and hit me on the shoulder....  sad24:

The nurses at A&E at Ashford Hospital said they kept my own bed for me...  lol:

What was the effect of the Beatles on the Vietnam War?
I am doing a research paper on the Beatles and I've already done a lot but most of it has more the Beatles affecting the Hippie Movement and i want to build a connection with the Beatles and the Vietnam war. So in other words how did the Beatles contribute to the end of the Vietnam war?
