"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Didn't they also do a seven? With a strange tap that used a Sparklets CO2 'bomb'?

I don't remember the tap - I thought you opened them with one of those pointy tin opener things....

In fact, you used to open all drinks with one of those pointy tin opener things....  rubschin:

Posh cocktail when I was young. Half of bitter and a DD to top up the pint glass. A "light and bitter" was much cheaper.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Light and bitter was always popular because the barman inevitably put more than half a pint of bitter in the glass....  lol:

Just after I started working in a pub (I was sixteen) prices went up and we were forced (by the management) to measure out the half-pint of bitter - customers were outraged!  whistle:

A bit like the effect you get trying to make a shandy with either Guinness or Smoothflow I'd imagine!
