Looney Council fund costs 93p to administer each single £1

Labour-run Sheffield City Council has been hit by criticism over a £300,000 fund, which costs £280,000 to administer, roughly 93p per £1.
The revelation was made today by opposition councillors who highlighted the extortionate staffing costs of administering the new community fund.
The fund was unveiled by Labour councillors last week as a replacement for the popular Community Assemblies, which Town Hall bosses had sought to scrap. The fund has already been attacked for handing out less than 30p per person to certain communities.
