I werk for meself , like. Daily rate use to be in the £600 region but in the last two years or so has dropped to £350-400.

The postholder will support the Team Leader in the build and delivery of a strategy to market all cross Government support and advice to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in 2013/14. During this same period, and in the short term, they will also support on the delivery of separate marketing campaigns to raise awareness of five key financial support products to help SMEs grow their businesses. These are: StartUp Loans; Round 4 of the Regional Growth Fund; the Enterprise Finance Guarantee; UK Export Finance short term products; and schemes to promote tax relief for investment in SMEs.
You will need a strong track record in developing successful, innovative solutions to challenging communication problems within a climate of reduced spend on marketing and communication. • Sound planning and delivering experience in each of the core roles – strategic advice on delivery channels, customer analysis, campaign extension, brand management, sponsorship and promotions. •The leadership and management skills to energise and inspire members of the team.

Christ that's crap! Back in the day (1997) iwas taking £350 + exes for one freelance and £5000 for 6 days a month (+ exes) for the second job!
