He didn't even test for emissions (having spent hours tuning the engine this weekend)....  noooo:

But at least he talked to me today... reckons the LHS track rod end is dodgy....

Just taking it off now for a look-see....

But as I said maybe you were too perfect in your restoration of a 1st generation mini.  Some had dodgy track rod ends before they left the factory.  Ad as for those sodding wheel bearings.

I ordered some new track rod ends yesterday just in case like but they won't be here 'til next Wednesday....  noooo:
