On my development some trees growing on private land are now blocking the view of mountains. They have grown very tall over the years. The owner of the threes is deliberately letting them grow tall to 'get his own back' on the householders whose view they are blocking. So a reasoned argument is not going to get us very far.
The trees are not a danger to life or property. Those effected by the loss of view have offered to pay for the height of the trees to be reduced.
Does anyone know of any Cyprus legislation that deals with loss of amenity due to a taken view. We that is those effected do not want to go to court over this as we would like to get a result in our life times and also have some money left for food.
Thanks
