Just watched that excruciating post match interview with some BBC bozo from bozoland asking bozo questions and not listening to the answer and to me he showed real character to not walk out on the feckwit and instead keep giving answers

They forget the small bit about the mahoosive amount of council housing (not that is a bad thing, but costs loads of munny) and The Darien Scheme which led to them being almost bankrupt and coming cap in hand to join 'The Union' before the country starved amongst many other problems the UK has funded them with.

Let them go alongside the Taffys and there might be a little left in the pot for the main country that has kept them for many years IMO.

Sorry Steve I really have tried I just can't pretend to like him.... His attitude is so reminiscent of so many bigoted Scottish people I know, relatives included .. The publicity machine  has tried to improve his persona and a lot of people have believed it...

Partly ... I did watch that programme before Wimbledon started ... and they did their best. But no I can't change my mind....

That whole "anyone but England" fiasco tells you far more about a sad fringe in England that hate any successful Scot

I had a huge row on another site with some stupid woman who posted that Murray came out for the final last year wearing an Anyone But England T shirt and several posters fell for it hook line and sinker.  When I asked why the BBC coverage showed nothing of the sort, the lying cow said I was stalking her

Worth googling for Tin Henman's account of what was actually said
