About 50 in the UK then...?

A staggering lack of parental supervision.... IMHO of course...

Why should we all struggle to open simple stuff because a few parents can't look after their kids...?

I see they want to ban roller blinds now in case an child hangs itself on the rope.....  noooo:

A sad fact is not only that ~50% of parents are below average IQ but that 5% of them are going to be seriously dim
Well, whatever, nevermind

That's on a par with the proposed ban on menthol fags - cos they *might* appeal to the little kiddiwinks like . . .

Pure moronicity . . .
"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Well, someone had to say it!

So the simple alternative would be we don't let morons have or be responsible for kids or able to have bottles of nasties lest they leave them in kids way

And the all new test for morons would be . . . . . .

You are a moron if you can't you open a 2013 child poof container.
Well, whatever, nevermind

There are plenty of examples of H&S idiocy where some weak minded fool has made a stupid rule but imho this ain't one of them, not even close

Well, whatever, nevermind
