Google refined search makes searching for obits really easy, Wiki deaths in 2013 made death announcements easy to find

Agree that way too many nobodies got in but why would we want exclude famous sporting people (a species unknown to BM) or politicians?  Anyway some of the entertainers were complete nobodies too and seems the BBC will publish what looks like an obit if a Punch and Judy man expires at Butlins.

Suggest (like wot I said before) that the obit has to appear within 24 hours of the death being discovered.

I don't want to name a bonus death again and was v glad mine didn't expire

Broadly agreed.

The bonus death could be an 'opt out' if you feel uncomfortable about it. . . .
