My old school buildings haven't changed much for 400 years or so.

I doubt the teaching staff have either.  noooo:

Hi Sis - this part of the description made me giggle

The building was refurbished in 2010-11 and contains a police office, which is signposted.

I'll try and search mine out  whistle:

They moved my secondary 'Trevelyan' from the top of Green Lane to the centre of Windsor in 2002 apparently....

Think they have now built a stack of over priced exec apartments on the site....

Checking what is said about it now nearly fell off my chair with the inane but apparently significant comment from Ofsted 2013 as follows:

Good behaviour is reflected in the improving attendance figures

How do they equate that!!!!!!!

Oh no's - it gets worse - just look at this load of old statement tosh listed as their now vision statement

Trevelyan's Vision

Inspire and I will follow, make learning creative and I will enjoy, encourage and I will succeed, respect others and things around me and I will be happy, nurture and the future is bright orange.

It actually was a lovely primary school (5 to 11 years of age in my time) and my Nanna and Grandad used to live in one of the 'penny cottages' just adjacent to the school, so we used to skip in there after final bell for toasted bread made on a proper toasting fork over a real coal fire.......................yum yum...........and then Nanna would, every Friday, give us an old one penny to spend at the tuck shop which was at the bottom of the hill on our way back to our house ......oh Happy memories  ;D

You had kiddies shoes that came in a box - now that's not poor  rubschin:

Only one of us got the shoes brand new out of the box - the other two of us had to wait to grow into them after eldest sis had grown out of them...................
