Indeed

Calamities galore with Uncle and I suffering the worst  cry:

"CUPSET- Rochdale 2-0 Leeds
BBC Sport's Jonathan Jurejko at Spotland: "Who said the romance of the FA Cup was dead?"
"FULL-TIME- Arsenal 2-0 Tottenham
Arsenal celebrate. Done and dusted. The Arsenal fans enjoyed that"
"GOAL- Nottingham Forest 5-0 West Ham - Andy Reid (90 mins)
Djamel Abdoun skips down the left and unselfishly passes to the onrushing Andy Reid who aims true into the top corner."
"It is just a five-minute cameo for Fabio which ends in an eyesore of a tackle on Jose Canas."
"Manchester United fans looked stunned in the stands, but it had been coming. Wayne Routledge does Darren Fletcher for pace down the left again, stands up a fine cross and Wilfried Bony buries the header."

Updated and much changed table:

This is all going very Pete Tong  Banghead

But good news for Boogs with another Calamity for me send her team one place above in the table cry:

"On second viewing, was that a Ryan Giggs own goal? It was indeed, the veteran tackled Bardsley and steered the ball over the line from a few yards out."

This is a testing time for anyone supporting any team called United

Today it's Uncle's turn for grief as with a Calamity of a result and an inferior league position he falls beneath Misty  rubschin:

"GOAL - Man City 6-0 West Ham - Edin Dzeko (89 mins)
No, it's not back-to-back 5-0 defeats as City get their sixth. Aleksandar Kolarov cuts the ball back and Edin Dzeko sends a left-footed missile right into the top corner. Pick that one out!"

Need a rule interpretation

The rules say you have a calamity if you lose a game or tie by 5 clear goals.  So Uncle lost a point for losing 6:0 tonight.  IMHO he can't then lose another point if the aggregate of the tie has a 5 clear goals defeat.

But if they lose by 5 clear goals in the second leg (not impossible) then that will be a second calamity (and of course a KO calamity on top).

The rules say Uncle has to agree such a ruling but any comments from others?
Well, whatever, nevermind

rubschin:

Not my style.

Re the calamity rules if (when!) WHU lose the second leg then the tie will have a clear 5 goal difference so that would be another calamity on top of the calamity points for being knocked out. If they lose by 6-0 again that would be a triple calamity.

Indeed  worthy:  Uncle

Will Sam play a strong team to get that 2 goal win in the return or will he play a load of kids and the man that paints the lines?

Things have gone from bad to worse for Leeds at Hillsborough, down to 10 men just two minutes after the restart and now trailing 3-0

 whistle:
