Took the grandchildren to the park today Picked them up in town had to sit with the engine running in case a traffic warden came along nowhere to stop without paying....
Arrived at park Carpark £2.40 for 2hrs
Go for a drink mum says daughter 1 coffee (well that was what it was supposed to be) in paper cup 3 soft drinks 2 children's sandwiches £16.20
Children's entertainment ... Donkeys £3 each... Go-karts £1.50 each for 5 mins .... Bouncy Castle £1.50 each 5mins
They wanted to go on the canoes £5 each 10 mins ...

Me... go play on the swings and climbing frames .... over an hour Free
It is empty..... parents dragging kids in opposite direction lots of tears .......
Now I know I am Scottish but I am not tight ..
In this economic climate there are a lot of families who like us in the old days went to the park with a picnic free parking and swings etc..
They could charge much less to give the families a fighting chance to enjoy these extra things ...
Instead there were countless children upset and not understanding why they were unable to enjoy the same as others...
They could half their prices, free parking , giving all families the chance to enjoy... Not just those of us who can afford it...
