I posted this about the camera in the village forum, trying to be helpful like...

The response was mixed as you can imagine but I liked this little dialogue...

Not sure about cutting the plug off , we did it with a razor and it never worked again , best to just use an adapter

I think I am capable of fitting a plug thanks! 

Just saying when we changed the plug it was said the charger was built into the plug , that's why it never worked again , cheers
