TG gets his Jollies.
« on: August 21, 2007, 07:19:32 PM »
To celebrate my 100th post I will share with you my holiday plans for 2007.

They are as follows :

Nada, nothing, nowt, fukc all, zilch etc. You get the picture.

It's been an expensive year. I have moved home twice with it's associated expenses, so the bottom line is no exotic holidays for TG and Co this year.

Shame! I hear you mutter.

I need not your sympathy (though a pint of vodka shandy would make me feel better!  happy088) as I have resigned myself to these same four walls for the rest of the year.

Until....Enter the stepkids  eyes:.

I am now going away for four days at the end of the month.

"Where are you off to TG?" I hear you ask.

Well, you will be jealous I know but I am going on an all expenses paid (by me) trip to..........

wait for it............

Steady now.........

Here we goooooooooooooooooooooo!

I am going to................

TONYPANDY!

The four walls look a far safer bet to me - you at least have the prospect of enjoying that  lol:

TONYPANDY ...

I am lost for words.

As far as I know, the only people that go to Tonypandy are those that live in Clydach Vale.

I have no idea where this is?

Mr Wench and I are also spending our holiday in this country and at home. However, we are going on day trips. Brighton, The Tower of London, Kew Gardens, The National Portrait Gallery, IKEA!!!!

 noooo:

The Whicker man was in Scotland.... We have far more intersting things to do to visitors to Wales....

http://www.pagemost.com/CF402DA

Take a look at some of these.

If you want a personal guide you only have to ask. I am about 8 miles away. whistle:

REMEMBER

All museums in WALES are free thanks to the WAG (Welsh Assembly Gov)
Highly recommende are The Museum of Welsh Life  (See the link) 100 acres of grounds around St Fagans Castle where they have a collection of buildings from all over Wales (Demolished and rebuilt on site brick for brick, or stone for stone). Cardiff Museum, where they have a summer exibition of some of the most amazing art in the country for a limited time.
Just a short distance away is the Big Pit (yes, it is now a museum and is FREE) you get to go down the mines and spend a while underground, it is a fantastic experience.
