Oh it'll get left for a while.  We have LOADS of plum jam.  Fair decent it is too

Just took several cycles of cook, pour into jars ailing when it doesn't set, empty out, boil again

BUT

It has given Mrs K great fun and in my book what puts a smile on Mrs K's face is always good
