...has packed up after being dodgy for a few days...

So I can receive e-mails but cannot open them to read or reply!  Banghead

Do you use POP....?

It is werking fine on LL's PC via POP to Outlook.... I may have to set up Outlook on me PC again.... ::)

Must be Cyprus not paying the bill or summat - just put the latest arrival in "Fresh from the inbox" in the Comedy Room. Clearly working OK both via the web and via POP in Blighty  . . . .
