Is the rocket stuck in a gutter yet?

No evil:
Littlest is spending the day with his chum (who you met)
Teenage hormone wreck is spending day with BF
Injured one is lying on the settee watching videos
SWMBO is prepping her lesson plans for the forthcoming term
I am about to drive to Chester to buy some wall tiles for the kitchen.
Nobody is flying today.
I used to have a handle on life but it broke.

Misunderstood

No, I left a rocket there last week for them all to play with. Apparently the puppies were trying to launch it over the house.

OK?

No ~ Nick + Boy visited last week bringing with them a gift for my boys. A water powered rocket thingie that shoots miles into the air. I had visions of large dents in the top of my car and many broken windows. So far, so good though.

Just small dents and cracked panes then?

Eldest boy used to have an elastic powered missile thing, where you stood on the base and pulled a catapult thing upwards with both hands.

Very important to lean back before it launched or you could lose, hat, nostrils or privates.

Came down on a parachute. Ended up on the electricity transformer on the pole and (thankfully) rotted away.

Transformer or rocket?

It is easier to see how you would do it with the former.

No, rocket. You had to set the rocket on fire first. More interesting that way. Summer of 65 I think.

Seen my new sig?

I'll be round to fix drinks in Wenchy's absess, so no probs for the boys.

I thought if Barman fires up his BarbyQ we could offer some snax later? I know how you like my nibbles, yes?

Perhaps some meats with little cob-on-the-nobs?

OK. Now, name drinks please boys, yes?
