It's been on the cards for years though. Apple have spent ages building up a base of customers who always have to have the latest thing
or who would buy anything with Apple branding on it and now they have them its time to rack up the prices.  noooo:

The most frustrating thing is we have just given away a billionteen 'spare' phones that I could have used as a temporary replacement to various charities as part of the house clearing process...  evil:
