Harry Roberts to be released
« on: October 23, 2014, 01:15:06 PM »
FFS!

Multiple murderer, hasn't shown a trace of remorse and terrorised a couple he met when given day release and yet the Parole Board thinks it's just dandy to set him totally free.    evil: evil: evil:

Agreed... he should rot in there...

However, I can't agree with those that believe that murdering a police officer is somehow worse (and should therefore be punished more harshly) than the murder of an 'ordinary' person...

Of course, if he had murdered 'ordinary' people he probably would have got out years ago.

Agreed... he should rot in there...

However, I can't agree with those that believe that murdering a police officer is somehow worse (and should therefore be punished more harshly) than the murder of an 'ordinary' person...

Dunno

If we want them to go unarmed into harms way every day then maybe we should protect them more with the law.  I would definitely make murder of an emergency worker on duty a more serious an offence.

Murder is murder surely...?

From your OP you suggest that a police murderer should not be released....

...but if he'd murdered three 'ordinary people' he could have been let out...?

When, how long would be okay....?

Oh noes if they'd been ordinary people I'd still think he should rot in jail forever, I can't find any reference to police in my OP.  You have me wrong sir.
