It's a niche point of view.  IMHO their policies just don't add up to even the sustainable society they dream of.  We would need to halve the population and that would be more than a little messy.

On the box t'other day was a piece about Brighton which is their strongest area.  The voters there like to vote Green but actually are about the worst in the country for recycling.  Seems they like the idea of voting for other people to be Green - in short effin hypocrisy.

The Brighton situation is partly due to the fact that they have made recycling so complex, and starting fining people who get in wrong. So people who live there have given up and started fly tipping. Add that to a long strike by the bin men which left rubbish uncollected..........

This based on friends who live there, not Google !

Also not helped by the number of bin strikes they have there.

Every time I go to Brighton I see so many overflowing bins and extra bags left out on the street, I know part of that is the high number of restaurants and students there but it still does not fit with their voting.

Brighton council leader is the bonkersly named Jason Kitcat (a Green).  They had him on the radio t'other day and I was expecting a big idiot.  No he's very sensible and argues his position very well.
