Amazing demolition
« on: August 30, 2007, 11:58:43 AM »
Walking through the city recently I came across this building being demolished. Because of the way it was built they are taking in down from the bottom up.  eeek:

Cool!

I have to demolish a fireplace while Mrs. Barman is in the UK - perhaps I will try that?  rubschin:

It looks as if it's one of those Transformer Thingies my lads say are "COOOOOOOOOOOL".
They go crazy for the Citroen Car ad where the car that does  "transforming stuff" skates.
Upset them no end when they discovered that my Citroen  doesn't!

There's lots of new building work in the City at the moment.

This is what's going to replace the one above.

Don't think so. It was originally the P&O building, changed hands a few times and ended up as the Indoseuz building.

Snoopy ~ I quite like all the new buildings going up, there's cetainly loads o' money in the City these days.

Nah ~ I'm too old to cope with it all now.
Gave me three bloody heart attacks when I was there ~ I couldn't go back to it now that I've learned to slow down.
Mind it was exciting ~ there was never a day when I didn't look forward to going to work and I had to be forced to take holidays 'cos I missed the buzz so much
