Me: Christmas lunch about 2 years ago
Bloke : Of course. Sit down. Lt me buy you a drink

We chat for about 10 minutes

Turns out later he was just some old git that had been invited. Not bride's dad at all  rubschin:

It has been reported here before. Went out for Christmas lunch a couple of years ago: me, Pinky, happy couple to be and bride's parents.

About halfway through bride's mother suddenly said, "Who are you?". We had been introduced  ::)

I explained I was Piink Sis's brother.

She said: "you can't be as you talk very posh and she sounds dead common."

I thought there was going to be a cat fight  scared2:
