Well I give you Mrs K's wisdom on the topic, bear with me:

The princess probably knew she had been cursed (actually a curse and a partial antidote curse) so she knew that one day she would likely fall into that sleep and need to be awoken by said kiss

So having not expressly said for such not to happen and having never said she preferred a perpetual coma she had in effect pre authorised the kiss

And so this complaining woman in the papers is (and I quote) "a stupid cow"

Logic works for me and I reverse my earlier comment
