Mrs K is talking about us going to see it tomorrow.  It's a clever premise for a film but the extracts look a bit cheaply done.  Maybe they spent the production budget de-aging Samuel L

Anyway may report back (if we don't get diverted to Ask Italian like we did last time)

The general feedback I've had is that when the cat that is used as a plot device has more on screen charisma and personality than the person in the title role then there has been a major cock up in the casting department.  noooo:

So a more detail review of Captain Marvel.

For a start it's not for people that hate fantasy based films - that means you BM so you can stop here and go tend the home brew.

So moving on:

One word:  Excellent
Two words: Must Watch
Three words: Possibly best Marvelfilm

Good plot, tight direction, good use of CGI, excellent interplay between Brie Larson and Samuel L Jackson, clever links to the other Marvel films and a great 90's based sound track.  Nice homage to Stan Lee, witty 90s references arguably.  It starts confusingly but maybe that's the intention given the plot (no spoilers here) and it then moves on to a good piece of entertainment.  The cat is good with a very interesting coughing up 'furball' scene.  As ever with Marvel films, stay to the last second of the credits and also as ever some losers leave at the first hint of the credits.
