Don't know why but whenever I see minions they remind me of smuggers, even more so in this trailer for some reason..

I know that the actors strike prevents them from promoting their films but who on earth thought this livestream would be a good way to promote the Marvels? 

Having said that, Steve you like cats and the MCU films so it should probably appeal.

Soz missed this as was on an airyplane that day.

How completely weird yet sort of watchable.  But 8 hours?   

What does Meistervision think of the film?  I was looking forward to it (Larson and Jackson are usually great on screen) but seems the critics aren't impressed and it's bombed at the box office.

I saw enough parts of the film doing screen checks to realise that it wasn't even worth using a free ticket on.

And you were right.  Finally watched it and apart from the ever easy on the eye Brie Larson it was just self undulgent junk.

Liam Neeson has been cast as Frank Drebin in the Naked Gun remake. Having seen how funny he can be in interviews I'm optimistic about this.

It's indicative of a major problem across the entertainment industry. There is a massive number of poor quality writers now being employed who have no understanding of the concept of the hero's journey and are incapable of thinking what the character would do in a situation so they use what they would do instead.  It's why the WGA demanded writers rooms and at least 12 writers per production.
