Miss I is missing her labrador "who understands everything I say". He lives in Rome.

She wants to bring him here in the summer, but she thinks that he won't like planes or trains.

The obvious plan, therefore, is to hike all the way. She estimates about 2 months 

I suggested a motorbike and sidecar or just a car. She regards this as a ridiculous idea.
