AN entertaining day at the lock. Highlight was the arrival of a very large and posh looking fibre glass cruiser closely followed by a bizarre home made boat modelled on the Batmobile. Owner/driver was a woman who looked like Catweazle. SHe was heading straight for the cruiser and yelled, "I am new to this, how do I stop?" eeek:

Ropes were thrown  noooo:

Turns out she had built it herself! She had no teeth and the roof of the boat was decorated with stuffed cats.

I asked where she was header for and she said she didn't know.
