My dad's Morris 1000 was "Rose Taupe", apparently  sick2:
People did give them funny names, but that is a bit much.

Today, Nod has asked for my help moving a Morris Minor that some friend of his has been storing in Nod's garage for 20 years!!  what can possibly go wrong?  eeek:

He also wants help retrieving the same friend's electric lawnmower from Nod's mum's garage.

My Uncle Fred used to have a Traveller when I was a kid...  cloud9:
0 to 60mph in  . . . .?   Yeah as if it ever got to 60.
Well, whatever, nevermind

When he went on holiday he filled it up with 5 Star, "to get up the hills". It might have gone a bit faster then...  rubschin:

Just don't plug the mower in to any Irish power points and you should be ok...  whistle:

I have just had a small accident of an annoying kind. The late lawnmower was transported in my car to the local lawnmower repair shop who declared that they did not fix that sort. I proposed to Mrs Nick that since it is dead I should take it to the dump. She insisted on me proving that it did not work. I know it doesn't work. So I plugged it in to the kitchen poweropoint and switched it on to demonstrate its deadness. The bastard worked! Unfortunately it was still on the back seat of my car! cussing:

Judging by the surreal altercation I witnessed earlier about a blocked drain, I think Nod has become unhinged  rubschin: noooo:
