Microwaving garlic

Don't do it. The whole house stinks. I could have done with that fire extinguisher!

I wouldn't suggest you microwave anything in the future. You don't seem to have too much luck with that appliance. eeek:

I set it a bit too high - the bits of garlic were glowing when they came out eeek:

It's got into my clothes too. Even the psychotherapist asked what the smell was.

Did you take the shells off first? That was a fun experiement once. Took days to get all that white and yellow stuff off.

Try leaving the shells on next time. It's quite spectacular. Saves money on fireworks. In fact I am thinking of mounting an indoor firework display on November 5th. Some tin foil, some eggs, a couple of tomatoes (for colour) and bung the whole lot on high for about 3 minutes.
