So having a bit of a clear out at Apey Mansion ( whistle:)....unlike the UK the bin men take anything .....

But it seems so do passers-by..... rubschin:

So Miss T and I are playing a game to see how long crap lasts outside our gaff .....so far ....


6ft uplighter ......6 hours ..

broken desk fan (no plug)......4 hours ...

broken suitcase ..(no zip )......5 hours


Electric chainsaw  eeek:  dodgy chain .... eeek:.....2 hours ...





updates to follow .......( a new pub game you say ... rubschin: )

I find putting a price tag on unwanted items (old fridges and stuff) makes them disappear more quickly  whistle:

If you wish. My tenants in London once wanted to get rid of an old sofa. Taking my advice they stuck it outside, put a £30 ono price tag on it and a fake number to call. It was gone in 10 minutes  razz:

We have a nightmare here - the three-times-a-week binmen that used to take everything now refuse to take green waste because reasons.

The new EU mandated recycling centre (pictured) has never opened because everybody knows that there is no munny in it and nobody will take it on.



Consequently our lovely village is piled high with green bags full of garden waste and fly tipping is everywhere...  noooo:

Aye, that is what I always did...

...but there are those that still believe that if you put a green bag next to the bin they will take it - even tho the one they left there last week is still there...  noooo:
