LL brought her laptop back from the UK on Sunday - switched it on yesterday. Gubbed.  evil:

She assures me it in nothing to do with letting a 3 y/o and 7 y/o play with it... facepalm:

1st deaded laptop update.

Replace keyboard (essential) - £20

Replace battery as not holding charge  (£70)

Replace screen  ( if required as has a small purple dot thingy).... £630 !!! censored:
She will be learning to live with the purple dot !!!

Computer Shoppe (Computer SOS Apey) says laptop is repaired and no charge!  Shocked:

They reckon it was some BIOS problem but I went all through it and couldn't see anything....  rubschin:
