Remember this 

I have a message today confirming my case has been sent to the 'write off team'.

This should get interesting.

So they took my laptop for a repair . Replaced keyboard and stole battery . Sorry lost original battery. State now they cannot source replacement battery . I have said they need to supply a replacement laptop to the same spec  as they  have effectively removed any functionality of this being a portable device .

You can still buy those laptops (linky) but are they going to compensate you for renting a PC in the meantime, any data lost etc?

Bank of Dad says NO! I have advised him to go to Tesco, buy a cheapo brick phone and transfer his SIM card.

I still don't have the laptop back and they have now sent me a link to something I can buy and then they will reimburse me .

As if I am gonna be confident they will do that !!!

Oh and they absolutely refute stealing my original battery but cannot provide an explanation of where it might be.

I hate them with a passion. I am currently undertaken a war of attrition with them and writing scathing reviews on the t'internet. I have received a message saying I am being vexatious from their social media representative. I have asked them to identify anything in my reviews that are inaccurate or not reflective of my experience.

I have heard nothing since !!!
