NZ Day 32

Today is the day!

Early breakfast in town and then off to the Nevis Swing ride! Organisation was (as we have found at all the events here) superb and the ride sensational…

Then, filled with adrenaline back to Queenstown a few beers by the harbour then dinner out – an exhausting and memorable day!

Alpacas too

And Lezzers...  eeek:

When we left Wellington there were two lezzers on the table next to us in the cafe while we waited for the ferry to Picton...

...so we saw them on the ferry...

And then a week later we booked in to the TranzAlpine railway and they were there too...  eeek:

And then this arvo after driving down to Franz Josef we unpacked and headed into town and THERE THEY WERE!  eeek:

And then this evening we went to one of the (eight I think) restaurants in the town and THERE THEY WERE!!!!  eeek:

What are the odds like...?  rubschin:

Standing in Queenstown today and one of the lezzers taps me on the shoulder and says, "there you are!"  Shocked:

What are the bleddy odds of that eh, EH?  eeek:

NZ Day 33

Collected LL’s ickle sister and partner from the airport first thing then back to Queenstown, checked out of the hotel walked around the town then lunch.

Then off to Arrowtown where we booked into the amazing Millbrook golf resort, explored Arrowtown itself and then returned for dinner…

Attempted to capture some of the beautiful autumnal colours in the trees but technology (and crap photographer) just doesn’t really do it justice...

Didn't they feed LL's sister when she was a kid or something?

Didn't know the Chinese gold diggers got that far.  They did Oz too (Ballarat - home of Dr Blake, Uncle will know what I'm prattling about)
Well, whatever, nevermind
