Blimp over Nicks' 'ouse.

Well I say "over Nicks' house", but in fact it could be anywhere now tbh.
The field next door to 'The Swamp', is having another garden fete festival thingy.
Got talking to the man on the gate to ask how it was going as he looked a bit down hearted.
Apparently, some arse hole thought it would be a bit of a wheeze to take the trouble to come along in a van with ladders, and cut the cable that was supporting over ?2000's worth of helium filled advertising blimp.
I forgot to ask had he informed both Liverpool and Manchester airports. eeek:

Could be an insurance scam  rubschin:
If the event wasn't doing too well.


I don't think we can blame the Nick Effect for a lost dirigible but if it brings a 747 down then I'll rethink that.

It was yesterday afternoon apparently, before the gates had even opened. Mind you, the gates were prematurely opened late last night apparently by a bunch of tossers who burst through them and proceeded to nick another one of the organisers cars.
Found in Southport this morning as a write off. ::)

I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable at 'The Swamp' now. scared2:

I did visit (about 3). You were not there. And the Blimp was cut loose of its moorings last time too, but not by me.

Oh. That was probably the last time they'll do that then.

I got there about 3:30, but should be earlier tomorrow....hopefully.
