Do they use tarmac there? 
[serious]All of the roads I've taken pictures of down there used to be
tarmac asphalt but have been ripped up and 'repaired' with
cement concrete which to me is counter-intuitive as concrete is more rigid...
They've put some kind of plastic 'join' in the concrete down the centre of the road (and across it in some points) so that it breaks there... not that it has made the slightest bit of difference... [/serious]
