So they will buy back all the grumbling ex pats properties under a compulsory purchase scheme ( I'm sure they will be reasonable in their vaulations  lol:) and put a football pitch in your place  lol:

They are already saying they want squash courts and stuff... ::)

But yes, I reckon buying back at a penny in the Pound and making a football pitch is more likely...  ;)

Bloody hell... Just walked to the post office and decided to have a look at some of the damage...

I was really shocked by the amount of movement since my last trip!  eeek:

And finally...


Not much to see yet but they have finally started to do something about the problem - albeit far too late for many.

Phase 1 is a multi-million €uro project to create a line of reinforced Cement Concrete piles at the top of the landslide to protect the rest of the village...

Phase 2 is errrrrr....  rubschin:

I'll keep taking pictures!
