It is next to a road that was falling down when we came in 2002 and was extensively repaired by the government at a cost of (I think) €7m about 15 years ago...

The coast road in Paphos is also falling into sea ....got diverted last night tho the villages to get home .. evil:....but at least they had the sense to do it at night ..although why in the tourist season and not winter .. noooo:

I think they are agreed that it is a groundwater issue but cause and blame have not been settled...

The groundwater thing is complex - we don't have mains sewers in the village so all the waste water is dumped straight into the ground. Years ago a sewer system was supposed to be put in but certain sections of the community fought against it... ::)
