Well I was in one last Sunday night near Whitchurch, and the grub was freshly cooked....I think....and tasted bloody fine to me. Endless cups of coffee for no extra too!
Had to stop for a gush in the bushes 15 times on the remaining part of the journey home.


I reckon that both meself and GROWLER  jnr. were the youngest ones in there tbh


If Mrs GROWLER ever asks, I cooked meals for us both ALL last weekend while she and Miss G were away. OK?

Apparently,according to the very friendly attendant/chefess that cooked our nosebags up, they are on borrowed time.
If the figures don't add up by December, they will be closing.

It'll be a shame imo, as the place was spotless, the price was ok, and the service was good too.
The rather large and ugly munter that served us could have made a bit more effort in terms of her appearance, but hey ho, i'm no oil painting I suppose.

Nothing wrong with Little Chef IMHO.

Talking to the chefess was quite a sad experience really. She'd very happily been at the branch in question for nearly 20 years but blames the meals high prices mainly for the decline in sales.
Breast of chicken wrapped in bacon and covered in melted cheese, chips and mixed veg, washed dowwn with several cups of coffee, ?7.ish
I didn't consider that to be an outrageous price tbh, but more importantly was the quality of the grub, and IT WAS good...imo.
