Many years ago I edited a book. Gratifyingly, I see that Snoopy actually bought a copy (though he will never ever read it). A lady Professor from the Univ of London subsequently produced a similar book and reproduced my text word for word and comma for comma. I know. She knows I know. I got some very nice hospitality in Oxford (at the Randolph) and some placatory dinners from OUP at the time.
But all she did was to photocopy two years of work and pass it off as her own. I could name her, but it might well be construed as libel*, so I won't.
Today there is an article in the Guardian. I read it. I also see that I mostly wrote it. But the name on it is not mine. The name on it is that of someone who downloaded it from my website!
Watch this space!!

* Barman, can I name her?
