Is it just me or is this creeping into the language of waiting staff from the other side of the Atlantic?

The "office" is unusual in having a bar/caff/restaurant and staff will bring stuff to your desk.

I just asked a passing waitress for a glass of water. She brought it to me and said, "Enjoy!"

Ah but this isn't just any water, this is finest quality tap water that has been lovingly passed through hundreds of customers and treatment plants through the ages...

You could have thrown the water over her and said you enjoyed doing it
