Looks like i get myself into deep 💩
Need some advice maybe someone had simillar situation.
Long story short: just arrived, was looking for flat, find right one pay deposit then sign contract (pay in advance for 6months to get better price which i noticed is not unussual practice), get keys, moved in and start to organize everything.
After few days lift stop working and upset guy was running and shouting to people living in building that he’s the owner and he will switch off electricity tomorrow in flats and from tomorrow we renting from him.
I notice is propably at least 10 flats rented from this lady who sign contract with me (i was told by other people she act as building manager, have all keys, office etc)
Now what i try to find out:
-if upset guy really own building and have some financial issues with this lady who act as manager can he force entry to flat and kick me out?
-is it any period when i can cancel contract and ask to get refund ? (And in case of she move money to other acc is it possible to get it back?)
I know i should check it more carefully but everything was looking ok and normal.
Im not sure what to do, look for another place or stay here and be worried that my lock will be replaced once im away from flat, i also use this address for paperwork to import my car so not sure how this works?"
This woman has now done this twice ..
