I just don't get it ....how does closing a pub one hour earlier at night help ?  noooo:

Do most people visit pubs between 10 and 11 pm?

Does everyone in the pub become completely twatted and start hugging each other between 10 and 11pm ?

Is this when the track and trace book has filled up and they can't record any more details ?

The young 'uns tend to pre load with cheap booze at home before hitting the town to save money so don't generally arrive till around 9.30-10ish,
The universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements. Energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest.

Sadly that is exactly what appears to in effect be happening too often

Cases in 20-29 years olds started climbing significantly from Aug 10th, 2 weeks later cases in older age groups started significantly rising and worse the 20-29 year olds cases accelerated big time.  And we know from https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/ that 2 weeks after that, deaths started increasing again.

Well, whatever, nevermind

Indeed... That is what you get for shutting the economy and locking everybody up for months on end isn't it...? Millions of people with no immunity...

I prefer millions with no immunity to millions dead

We have 12.5 million people over 65 in the UK, we're buying time so hopefully a vaccine with some effectivity comes along by early next year
Well, whatever, nevermind

You can have my shot too if you like...  ;)

It should be obvious by now that you can't keep these Lockdown restrictions forever... You simply can't hide from a virus...

Protect the elderly by all means but the Lockdown nonsense has to stop.

Dare I mention Sweden...?

That'd be Sweden well known for its strong citizen culture where they just obeyed lockdown without having to be regulated

How's Brazil doing?

You obviously haven't seen any pictures (or read any reports) of near normal life in Sweden...?

I find that somewhat bizarre because I've read many articles and seen pictures of 'normal' life in Sweden recently... Plus of course they kept schools open for under 16s...

But then each to their own beliefs...  ;)

The Twat in Chief is addressing the nation at 8.00. Expect hand gestures, use of words like "unleash" and "thrust", flags and Churchillian nonsense.

Pastis tells me that the UK is watched with horror from Spain.

It is going to be a grim 6 months!

it clashes with the football

We could do a lie-ometer.  I'll guess at 3 whoppers, 3 disingenuities, several insincerities and a torresnt of shoulder slopings
