A Billion quid withdrawn by customers in one day and queues round the block again today. whistle:

There are few statements more likely to frighten people than a bank saying 'Trust us'.

Only our government can surpass that!  and seeing as they are saying 'Trust us' too - Best RUN!

Too true. Alistair Darling has said that Northern Rock has his full confidence and we all know what that means.

For some reason people get extraordinarily upset about the thought of losing money.     

Maybe it was someone's bright idea of a captive audience for the advertising....   ::)
