So if we are not going to die from this bug we will be faced with the prospect of losing jobs, years more austerity, higher taxation,  no jobs  and more importantly for some no beer available    etc etc etc

The news really should carry one of those mental health warnings and offer a helpline to talk to someone after each 'episode'

As all news programmes are effectively repeats now we should be able to just bung them on 'Dave'  or 'Gold' and fill in the space with something more useful like cartoons
