It's all so depressing and predictable. I still find Channel 4 News OK, but the BBC bulletins seem more and more superficial

I still watch the Beeb and Sky News but yes it has become somewhat superficial and at the same time only able to cover a very few stories.  I get more news from a 3 minute scan through the BBC text pages than the actual news programme the telebox might be showing at same time

But was it ever any different?  I suspect not, we're just comparing it to the hundreds of news stories we can access via the web.

What I do know is if you think Beeb News is bad, try watching the News in other countries.  Advert ridden, lowest common denominator seeking rubbish.  And as for web site news, so much is barely disguised politicaling on behalf of the owners.

Well, whatever, nevermind

I find the BBC absolutely infuriating at the moment  and refuse the watch their prescribed format

Headline - doom mongering, the end of the world is nigh relishing delight

Cut to - yet another hospital where they are reporting from ( this varies from all the other hospitals they have been to how ??? )

Spare some time to include the Laura Kueunssberg lovefest  ::)

Any other news going on in the world - nope ( apart from Trumpety trump trump trump)

Last item  - some token do gooder and their message of hope/ charity / kindness ( ah feck right off will ya !! )

So what would the news hosted by Miss D have as its main stories

Creme Egg futures news (obvs)
The world Vodka shortage
New proposed legislation to allow incompetent minions and bosses to be shot on sight
The Daily Nod update (phoned in by ravingroving reporter Nick)
News from the former colonies (Smugland)
Manchester United top of the league (special report by 'The Man')
Item about how work is so unfair on yoof (special report from the Brat)
Some guff about the difficulties with organising Weddings

Anything I've missed?
Well, whatever, nevermind
