Two new things today.

1. The Head Boss decided to do a day at the lock face to see what everyone is grumbling about. He called me at 3.00 saying he understood what everyone was grumbling about and we had a long chat about possible changes to the way everything is done  Shocked:

2. Two very sweet young ladies on a narrow boat came to talk to me and had about twenty billion questions. They shyly confessed they had got married yesterday, that this trip was their honeymoon and that they had never been on a boat before. Made them tea and HobNobs, answered questions and eventually sent them on their way with loads of sound advice (but not about marriage  redface: )
