So he is still in horsepickle.

Had a telephone conference yesterday with the consultant and The Man  which was a bit difficult with trying to hear properly with all the hustle and bustle going on there  noooo:

She confirmed that they didn't 'accidentally ' cut his bladder during the op but actually saw a small section which they thought contained diseased cells and removed that at the time. I don't understand why they wouldn't have just said that  - I am getting frustrated by the 'information management '  noooo:

So he hopefully should be discharged either Tues / Wed next week  and then we have an appt on the 10th May with oncologist to sort out chemotherphy treatment. In a few months he has to have another scan on the bladder to see if anything else needs to be done but as they have already removed the affected bit and he would have had chemo not sure what that would involve - but we shall cross that bridge when we come to it .

He was keen to say his physio has said he can't do any housework for 6-8 weeks. lol:

He is starting to eat solid foods  - today he asked for a light snack for dinner . They provided this  lol:

Love the 'light' meal  ;D

Sounds a lot more encouraging but he's going to take time to recover esp with chemo, will he be allowed to watch tomorrow's match?
Well, whatever, nevermind

So The Man has been given parole from horsepickle and we will collect him later.

His mate is a black cab driver and has offered to pick him up as the space in the vehicle might be easier for him . Makes sense but means he has to pick me up first and then the long journey into town will no doubt consist of a long monlogue of how hard cabbies have had it, fffing cyclists and the Loon Lord Mayor etc - just don't get him started on Uber either  noooo:
