In all honesty I'm not certain that Labour will survive for that much longer. Starmer has proved to be completely ineffective as leader and I'm not convinced that whoever ends up being his successor will be able to pull off the miracle the party needs.

When you see some of the younger ones it is just a situation that will get worse and worse...

Professional career politicians are utterly useless...

Now we have professional politicians who go straight from university to working within their party without any idea of how the real world works I doubt we are going to see true statesmen again.

The public got what the public wanted:  ABC (Anything But Corbyn) and why was that because so many foolish though it a great game to put that barely disguised Marxist in charge of Labour.  So many decent politicians across the spectrum from Dominic Grieve to Chuka Umunga pushed out.
 
And the other issue is the public don't want to pay top politicians what top politicians are worth.  Boris has to go begging for cash for favours because now he earns only a fraction of what he earned peddling his lies for the DT.

Will this get worse?  Probably but I can hope for otherwise.

No and nor should you, what we need is a way to sling out the crooks like Boris and his Borisistas and pay the decent ones at least something close to what they'd get for their talents in private business.
