Wind him up by telling him they'll tattoo him at same time

Tis true but not exactly where the sun shines or anyone will see
Well, whatever, nevermind

Last time they tried a colonoscopy he screamed and tried to run away like a little gerl ::)  This time it's a general anaesthetic  ::)

I wind him up with tales of Willycam adventures  eveilgrin:

Never had a colonoscopy (touch wood, yet) but from what I hear from others the wise take any sedatives and anesthetics offered as for about 1 in 3 people it is agony.  And who'd want to take a one in 3 chance?
Well, whatever, nevermind

Try having an endoscopy or TOE where they shove a camera down your throat. That requires sedation.

Many years ago I was hospitalised and the doctor stuck an NG tube up my nose and down into my stomach. Not pleasant   noooo:   Later the nurse came to feed me through it only to discover in had been put wrong way in. The nurse told the doctor who told her to go and take it out. The nurse refused saying "you put it in, you take out"

I only know this because I later married the nurse.
